Mu\u00f1oz present\u00f3 una iniciativa de reforma constitucional para reconocer el derecho de las y los veracruzanos residentes en el extranjero a participar en las elecciones para la gubernatura del estado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En entrevista coment\u00f3 que m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de veracruzanos viven fuera del pa\u00eds pero mantienen v\u00ednculos con su estado de origen, adem\u00e1s de contribuir de manera significativa mediante el env\u00edo de remesas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La propuesta, dijo, plantea modificaciones a cinco art\u00edculos de la Constituci\u00f3n Pol\u00edtica de Veracruz con el objetivo de incorporar el voto extraterritorial y armonizar la legislaci\u00f3n local con las disposiciones federales que ya permiten a las entidades reconocer este derecho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Janix Liliana Castro Mu\u00f1oz explic\u00f3 que aunque la legislaci\u00f3n federal contempla mecanismos para el voto desde el extranjero, Veracruz a\u00fan no ha incorporado esta figura en su marco jur\u00eddico, a diferencia de 18 entidades del pa\u00eds que ya cuentan con normatividad en la materia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s, agreg\u00f3, la iniciativa sostiene que la falta de disposiciones locales impide que esa participaci\u00f3n pueda extenderse actualmente a la elecci\u00f3n de gobernador, por lo que plantea una reforma que permita garantizar este derecho pol\u00edtico-electoral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La legisladora afirm\u00f3 que la propuesta busca fortalecer la inclusi\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica, ampliar la participaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica de la comunidad migrante y atender una demanda hist\u00f3rica de los veracruzanos que radican fuera del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es de mencionar que la iniciativa recibi\u00f3 respaldo de otros grupos parlamentarios, lo que consider\u00f3 una muestra de disposici\u00f3n para avanzar hacia un modelo electoral m\u00e1s incluyente en la entidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p
