El dise\u00f1ador\u00a0Giorgio Armani,<\/strong>\u00a0considerado el \u2018rey\u2019 de la moda italiana,\u00a0muri\u00f3<\/strong>\u00a0este jueves 4 de septiembre de 2025\u00a0a los\u00a091 a\u00f1os<\/strong>\u00a0en Mil\u00e1n, inform\u00f3 su grupo empresarial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armani, considerado un sin\u00f3nimo de estilo y elegancia italianos modernos, muri\u00f3 acompa\u00f1ado de su familia y de Leo Dell\u2019Orco, su compa\u00f1ero durante los \u00faltimos 20 a\u00f1os, seg\u00fan se inform\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con infinito pesar, el grupo Armani anuncia el fallecimiento de su creador, fundador e incansable motor: Giorgio Armani\u201d, comunic\u00f3 la casa de moda.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEl se\u00f1or Armani, como siempre le han llamado con respeto y admiraci\u00f3n sus empleados y colaboradores, falleci\u00f3 tranquilamente, rodeado de sus seres queridos\u201d, se apunt\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un comunicado en donde se destac\u00f3 que Giorgio Armani \u201cincansable, trabaj\u00f3 hasta sus \u00faltimos d\u00edas, dedic\u00e1ndose a la empresa, a las colecciones y a los diversos y siempre nuevos proyectos en curso y en desarrollo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hace unas semanas, poco antes de cumplir 91 a\u00f1os, una infecci\u00f3n pulmonar lo oblig\u00f3 a ser hospitalizado y a convalecer en su casa de la Via Borgonuovo de Mil\u00e1n, lo que le oblig\u00f3 perderse el desfile masculino de alta costura en junio, algo muy poco frecuente en este incansable trabajador que nunca dej\u00f3 los talleres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El re Giorgio<\/em> fue una leyenda absoluta de la moda, un icono universal del estilo contempor\u00e1neo, que puso a la mujer y su libertad en el centro de su trabajo, con un estilo siempre caracterizado por una elegancia atemporal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan comunic\u00f3 su familia, se instalar\u00e1 una capilla ardiente<\/strong> desde el s\u00e1bado 6 de septiembre<\/strong> hasta el domingo 7 en el Armani Teatro de Mil\u00e1n<\/strong> y se celebrar\u00e1 un funeral privado, como dej\u00f3 establecido en sus \u00faltimas voluntades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El pasado julio, su firma cumpli\u00f3 medio siglo y se coron\u00f3 como uno de los pocos y exitosos dise\u00f1adores que supo mantener el equilibrio entre la visi\u00f3n creativa y el liderazgo empresarial, mientras la mayor\u00eda de las casas hist\u00f3ricas han sido absorbidas por grandes conglomerados internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pero Giorgio Armani luch\u00f3 por seguir sigue fiel a s\u00ed mismo y a la filosof\u00eda con la que comenz\u00f3 en su taller en Mil\u00e1n (norte) en 1975 junto a su socio Sergio Galeotti, fallecido hace ya cuatro d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fue en los a\u00f1os 70 cuando su \u2018chaqueta desestructurada\u2019 cambi\u00f3 las reglas del juego. Rompi\u00f3 con la rigidez de la moda masculina, pero tambi\u00e9n jug\u00f3 un papel clave en la moda femenina, con trajes de chaqueta y pantal\u00f3n de corte riguroso y masculino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rompi\u00f3 con los estereotipos de g\u00e9nero: para los hombres, prendas fluidas y suaves; para las mujeres, un estilo estructurado y andr\u00f3gino. Tambi\u00e9n era conocido por su uso de colores neutros, como el gris, el beige, el greige (una palabra acu\u00f1ada para referirse a su color caracter\u00edstico, a medio camino entre el gris y el beige) y el uso extensivo del azul noche, que se convirti\u00f3 en su marca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GiorgioArmani tambi\u00e9n fue pionero en tender puentes entre la moda y el cine de Hollywood, convirti\u00e9ndose en uno de los primeros dise\u00f1adores en utilizar el \u2018product placement\u2019 o colocaci\u00f3n de producto, como herramienta estrat\u00e9gica, vistiendo a actores en pel\u00edculas y en alfombras rojas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde entonces, estrellas como Jodie Foster, Helen Mirren, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts o Amanda Seyfried<\/strong> han paseado sus creaciones por los eventos m\u00e1s importantes de la industria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su elegancia y educaci\u00f3n no le imped\u00edan ser directo, como cuando en 2020 arremeti\u00f3 contra los dise\u00f1adores que, al obligar a las mujeres a vestir seg\u00fan las tendencias sin considerar lo que les conviene, \u201cviolan\u201d a sus clientas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
