{"id":45430,"date":"2025-02-12T17:24:58","date_gmt":"2025-02-12T23:24:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informante.mx\/?p=45430"},"modified":"2025-02-12T17:25:03","modified_gmt":"2025-02-12T23:25:03","slug":"eu-podria-imponer-aranceles-de-hasta-50-al-acero-y-aluminio-de-mexico-y-canada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informante.mx\/?p=45430","title":{"rendered":"EU podr\u00eda imponer aranceles de hasta 50% al acero y aluminio de M\u00e9xico y Canad\u00e1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La Casa Blanca inform\u00f3 que si entra en vigor el arancel de 25% sobre los bienes mexicanos y canadienses, \u00e9ste se sumar\u00eda al impuesto sobre el acero y aluminio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Redacci\u00f3n Informante<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los\u00a0<strong>aranceles del 25 por ciento al<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>acero y al aluminio<\/strong>\u00a0anunciados el lunes por el presidente estadounidense\u00a0<strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>\u00a0se sumar\u00e1n al de\u00a025 por ciento sobre los bienes mexicanos y canadienses\u00a0ya impuestos pero en suspenso durante un mes, confirm\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles a la AFP la\u00a0<strong>Casa Blanca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si las tarifas impuestas a Canad\u00e1 y M\u00e9xico para incitarlos a&nbsp;<strong>controlar la inmigraci\u00f3n ilegal y el tr\u00e1fico de fentanilo<\/strong>&nbsp;entran en vigor el 1 de marzo,&nbsp;<strong>el acero y el aluminio producidos por los dos pa\u00edses ser\u00e1n gravados en total con un 50 por ciento<\/strong>&nbsp;a partir del d\u00eda&nbsp;<strong>12 de ese mes<\/strong>, precis\u00f3 la fuente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El presidente estadounidense firm\u00f3 el lunes un decreto que impone aranceles del 25 por ciento al acero y al aluminio importados a Estados Unidos, a partir del 12 de marzo, \u201c<strong>sin excepci\u00f3n ni exenci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Y eso se aplica a todos los pa\u00edses\u201d, declar\u00f3 a periodistas en el despacho oval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alegando&nbsp;<strong>riesgos para la \u201cseguridad nacional\u201d,<\/strong>&nbsp;el republicano emiti\u00f3 dos decretos para el acero y el aluminio de dondequiera que provengan, incluidos sus aliados econ\u00f3micos que anteriormente se beneficiaron de exenciones para estos dos productos, es decir&nbsp;<strong>Argentina, Australia, Canad\u00e1, M\u00e9xico, la Uni\u00f3n Europea y el Reino Unido.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Brasil, Jap\u00f3n y Corea del Sur pierden la exenci\u00f3n que disfrutaban para el acero y sus derivados.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apenas este mi\u00e9rcoles la presidenta&nbsp;<strong>Claudia Sheinbaum inform\u00f3 que enviar\u00e1 una carta a la Casa Blanca<\/strong>&nbsp;para explicar que EU tiene un super\u00e1vit comercial con M\u00e9xico en cuanto al acero y aluminio respecta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo anterior en referencia a los expuesto por Marcelo Ebrard, secretario de Econom\u00eda, quien adem\u00e1s llam\u00f3 al presidente Trump a \u201cno darse un balazo en el pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Estados Unidos nos vende m\u00e1s, entonces no se justifica esa tarifa<\/strong>\u201d, subray\u00f3 el ministro, quien detall\u00f3 que&nbsp;<strong>el pa\u00eds vecino provee casi 6 mil 897 millones de d\u00f3lares m\u00e1s de lo que exporta M\u00e9xico<\/strong>, seg\u00fan cifras oficiales estadounidenses de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDice a veces el presidente Trump, \u2018sentido com\u00fan\u2019. Bueno, pues le tomamos la palabra: sentido com\u00fan,&nbsp;<strong>no balazo en el pie, no destruir lo que hemos construido los \u00faltimos cuarenta a\u00f1os<\/strong>\u201d, declar\u00f3 Ebrard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, el secretario de Econom\u00eda adelant\u00f3 que&nbsp;<strong>la pr\u00f3xima semana, unva vez que sea ratificado el secretario de Comercio de EU, comenzar\u00e1n las negociaciones con su oficina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su hom\u00f3logo canadiense,&nbsp;<strong>Dominic LeBlanc<\/strong>, estar\u00e1 en Washington el mi\u00e9rcoles y abordar\u00e1 el tema con el&nbsp;<strong>principal asesor econ\u00f3mico de Trump, Kevin Hassett, y el futuro secretario de Comercio, Howard Lutnick<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>No creemos que los aranceles sean la soluci\u00f3n correcta<\/strong>, as\u00ed que no vamos a hacer nada hasta que los estadounidenses tomen su decisi\u00f3n final\u201d, declar\u00f3 a periodistas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump impuso el 1 de febrero aranceles aduaneros del 25 por ciento a<strong>&nbsp;todos los productos procedentes de Canad\u00e1 y M\u00e9xico<\/strong>&nbsp;pero los suspendi\u00f3 dos d\u00edas despu\u00e9s durante&nbsp;<strong>un mes<\/strong>&nbsp;para darse tiempo para&nbsp;<strong>negociar un acuerdo<\/strong>&nbsp;y a la vista de las primeras medidas adoptadas por sus vecinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los tres pa\u00edses son&nbsp;<strong>socios desde 1994 de un acuerdo de libre comercio regional<\/strong>&nbsp;que fue renegociado en 2020 por exigencia de Trump durante su primer mandato (2017-2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante su primer mandato, Trump ya impuso tarifas del 25 por ciento al acero y del 10 por ciento al aluminio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
