El Congreso del Estado aprob\u00f3, con 34 votos a favor, la abrogaci\u00f3n de la Ley 223 que reconoce el derecho de las personas f\u00edsicas, mayores de 70 a\u00f1os de edad, que no tengan ingreso alguno y sin la protecci\u00f3n de los sistemas de seguridad social del Estado o de la Federaci\u00f3n, a recibir una pensi\u00f3n alimenticia del Gobierno del Estado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este dictamen, cuya votaci\u00f3n cont\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n con 14 votos en contra y 0 abstenciones, puesto a consideraci\u00f3n del Pleno por las Comisiones Permanentes Unidas de Hacienda del Estado y de Seguridad Social, explica el sentido de la Iniciativa presentada por el diputado Augusto Nah\u00fam \u00c1lvarez Pellico, el 22 de junio de 2020, que le dio origen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expone que dicha abrogaci\u00f3n es resultado de la reciente adici\u00f3n a la Constituci\u00f3n Pol\u00edtica de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos del derecho universal de las personas mayores de 68 a\u00f1os y, en el caso de las personas ind\u00edgenas y afrodescendientes a recibir una pensi\u00f3n del Estado mexicano, publicado en el Diario Oficial de la Federaci\u00f3n el 8 de mayo de 2020. Este derecho incluye a las personas f\u00edsicas mayores de 70 a\u00f1os de edad y residentes del estado de Veracruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conforme a lo dispuesto en el Art\u00edculo 1 de la Ley 223, publicada en la Gaceta Oficial del Estado el 14 de febrero de 2005, la protecci\u00f3n para recibir una pensi\u00f3n de las personas mayores de 70 a\u00f1os se motiva a partir de la falta de ingresos y sin la protecci\u00f3n de los sistemas de seguridad o ante el incumplimiento de los requisitos de elegibilidad establecidos en el programa equivalente que para tal efecto cre\u00f3 el gobierno federal a favor de las personas de 68 a\u00f1os en adelante actualmente denominado Pensi\u00f3n para el Bienestar de los Adultos Mayores.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
